Mary’s Loving Care is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate Companions & Sitters to provide non-medical support and companionship to clients in their homes. If you enjoy helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in someone’s daily life, this opportunity may be perfect for you.

As a Companion or Sitter, you will provide emotional support, social interaction, and assistance with everyday activities that help clients remain comfortable, safe, and engaged in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and friendly conversation
• Offer emotional support and social interaction
• Assist with light housekeeping and household organization
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Accompany clients on walks and recreational activities
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and appointments
• Provide safety supervision and monitoring
• Encourage participation in hobbies and social activities
• Report any concerns or changes in client well-being to supervisors
• Follow care plans and agency guidelines

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Previous caregiving or companion experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Commitment to providing exceptional client-centered care
